Lessons for Kids
For parents and teachers, talking about firearm safety with kids is important, even if families don’t have a gun in the home. Kids can learn about guns from how they’re portrayed in video games, TV and movies – as well as what their friends say… or they can learn from you.
NSSF/Project ChildSafe has teamed up with the National Crime Prevention Council to produce a series of educational resources to guide parents in talking with kids in Kindergarten through 9th grade.
